Nike swooped in and signed Rory McIlroy who was the young face of the Oakley golf brand. To continue the momentum of this growing business, we needed a disruptive statement that Oakley was here to stay.
CREATIVE SOLUTION
With trade shows quickly approaching and a constrained budget, Oakley signed Bubba Watson, a “non-conventional” golfer to match the irreverent brand. The creation of the “Hover” anti-traditional concept was quickly created and the results were jawdropping. The #1 video on YouTube, a feature on the Today Show and 30%+ YOY growth.
